Curve game multiplayer, 2 to 8 players
Four different ways to get more than one person into the same arena — on one keyboard, on phones around a TV, or online against strangers. All free, all in the browser.
Pick the right room
| Mode | Players | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Endless | 1 + AI | Survive as long as you can against AI snakes. Global leaderboard. |
| Weekly Challenge | 1 + AI | New rule set every Monday — ten challenge types in rotation. |
| Classic | 2–8 | Everyone on one keyboard, one screen. The party format. |
| Controller | 2–8 | Host on the big screen, phones become the controllers via QR code. |
| Online | 2–8 | Matchmade against real people. Never bots. |
| Arena | up to 64 | Eight lobbies of eight, elimination rounds down to one winner. |
Same keyboard, same sofa
Classic is the original format: up to eight players, one keyboard, elbows included. Each player gets a key pair. Nothing to set up beyond agreeing who gets the arrow keys. More on this on the local multiplayer page.
Phones as controllers
Controller mode puts the arena on a TV, laptop or projector and turns every phone in the room into a gamepad. The host screen shows a QR code; scanning it is the whole join flow. No app, no accounts, no cables.
Online, against real people
Online matchmakes you into a lobby of up to eight humans. Empty seats are never padded out with bots — if the lobby is quiet, it stays quiet, and Arena is usually the busier room.
Arena: 64 players, one bracket
Arena runs eight parallel lobbies of eight. Survive your round and you advance; get knocked out and you can watch the surviving lobbies play on. Arenas have shareable join codes, so a whole group can drop into the same tournament.
Every mode is free. No pay-to-win, no unlockable advantage — the paid tier only removes ads.
Common questions
How many people can play at once?
Two to eight in Classic, Controller and Online modes. Arena runs eight lobbies of eight at the same time, so up to 64 players compete in one tournament.
Do my friends need to install anything?
No. Send them curveclash.com and it opens in the browser. In Controller mode they scan a QR code and their phone becomes the gamepad — still no install.
Are the online opponents real players?
Yes. Online only ever matches you with real people; it never fills empty seats with bots. Solo modes are where the AI snakes live.
Is it cross-platform?
Yes — web, iOS, Android and macOS players share the same online lobbies and leaderboards.
